Mirrors are vital artefacts when designing the décor of a home. Diverse and original mirrors can be found in any room of a house and include designs that vary in accordance with the site in which they are placed.
Before concerning ourselves with the varied designs of mirrors, let us look at the type of glass which allows them to be differentiated as normal, curved and concave mirrors. The first type of mirror has a flat reflective surface in which we can see the reflection of any object placed before it. Curved mirrors serve a decorative purpose, while their curved surface provides them with a touch of originality. Concave mirrors, by contrast, have a reflective surface that curves inwards, an effect which can provide an expanded view of objects - something that is very useful when putting on your make-up.
In terms of the designs of the mirrors decorating our homes, we can find the following types: All the trendiest interior design shops currently carry the sun-shaped mirror. The quest to represent nature's bounty sees teardrop and flower-shaped mirrors trending. Round mirrors with no frame at all are also cutting a dashing figure this year, while other circular types - such as the strap mirror - are making headway. The classics never go out of fashion either. Among these are mirrors with compartments or those with wooden frames, applying a subtle twist to whichever room they may be in. And if it is a minimalist mirror you are looking for, then this is a fine decorative option for any room, playing the horizontal off against the vertical.
