Bolboreta Press

Bolboreta Press We were founded as a Non-profit Cultural Association in October 2018. The development partners (Rosa Serrano Muñoz, Paloma Ronsano and Juan Manuel Rodríguez) come from backgrounds of culture, education in the context of mental health, functional diversity and wider social areas. Our values comprise the defence and promotion of art and culture for adults and children, especially for people with special needs. We are also interested in cultural dissemination through books and reading. I have worked and collaborated with different groups and entities, always in relation to artistic disciplines, social design and human rights. Since 2018, Asociación Bolboreta Press has collaborated with specialised art workshops in ESDA, Fundación Atención Temprana (MINILIBROS), Centro Comunitario Harinera ZGZ POEGRAFICOS, Pueblos en Arte (Fuendetodos Poetry Festival) and Asociación Palito Edita. It has also begun to publish specialist books and fanzines following local production criteria and eco-friendly printing methods.

Bolboreta Press began as a non-profit association in Zaragoza towards the end of 2018. It is a regional association and operates in Aragon. Its statutes provide for the promotion of "outsider" art and children's art, and the defence of the rights of functional diversity, children and youth collectives through education, publishing and cultural management. Among our values is the support of cultural promotion within socially vulnerable groups with regard to their inclusion in cultural areas: immigration, disability, mental health and other disadvantaged collectives. Bolboreta Press is a micro publisher which is committed to universal and social design. We promote publications on the basis of accessibility criteria. At the same time, our mission is to promote and support publications relating to art, culture, science, design, graphic design or photography. For the edition and production of or our publications we use sustainable resources, with limited editions and a commitment to collaboration with craftsmen and women and local technicians. We place emphasis on collaborating with cultural, educational and social institutions, and on promoting the work of upcoming local artists and designers in Aragon. We use risograph printing techniques for editorial, educational and cultural management projects and paper from sustainable forests. Publisher of graphic works in artisan book and fanzine formats, and printer for cultural institutions. Also promoter of activities related with reading, graphic design and art history.
